Jonah Coleman is my favorite late-round RB target in 2026 drafts.

Let me tell you why.

For starters – Jonah Coleman was extremely productive in college.

He was involved as a true freshman (75/372/4; 2nd on his team in attempts).

& then he led his team in rushing in 3-consecutive seasons.

• 128/871/5 (6.8 YPC) as a SO.
• 193/1053/10 (5.5 YPC) as a JR.
• 156/758/15 (4.9 YPC) as a SR.

He averaged 4.9+ YPC every season.

& did so for 2 different programs (AZ + WAS).

Coleman was also one of the best RB’s after-contact in the entire NCAA…

Out of 109 NCAA RB’s with 125+ attempts in 2023…

Ashton Jeanty finished 2nd in YAC/attempt (4.52).

Guess who finished 1st?

Jonah Coleman (5.09) – the only NCAA RB to average 5.0+ YAC/attempt that season.

Coleman averaged 3.50+ YAC/attempt in 3/4 seasons.

& averaged over 4 yards AFTER-contact (4.12) for his career.

Jonah Coleman is also an ELITE tackle-breaker (career .312 MTF/touch).

The only rookie RB in this class with a higher broken-tackle rate is Jeremiyah Love (career .335 MTF/touch).

Jonah Coleman is also a capable pass-catcher – posting 25/283/1, 23/177, & 31/254/2 receiving in his 3 seasons as starter.

Coleman averaged a respectable 1.22 YPRR for his career.

On top of that – Jonah Coleman is a beast of a pass-blocker.

He posted a 70+ PFF Pass-Blocking Grade in 2 different seasons.

Coincidentally – during the 2024 season…

Coleman ranked 6th/48 NCAA RB’s in Pass-Blocking Grade (76.9)

Guess who ranked dead-last?

RJ Harvey (21.8 PFF Pass-Blocking Grade; 48th/48 RB’s).

Not only is RJ Harvey a bad pass-blocker (outside the Top-50 RB’s in Pass-Block Grade as a rookie) – but Harvey was also one of the worst rushers in the NFL as a rookie…

RJ Harvey ranked 46th/51 RB’s in PFF Rushing Grade (69.2) last year.

48th/51 RB’s in RYOE/attempt (-.64).

Harvey was outcarried by JK Dobbins 153-50 before Dobbins got hurt in WK10.

If anything happens to JK Dobbins – who hasn’t played a full 17 games once in 6 NFL seasons – it’s quite possible Jonah Coleman handles the majority of the rushing work.

It’s also possible Jonah Coleman is just flat-out better than RJ Harvey.

& DEN is a team which can score RB fantasy points (DEN ranked 11th in total RB fantasy points last year).

DEN ranked 7th in plays per-game last year.

You should reach a full round (or more) to get him onto your roster.
